Family Beach Trip Essentials
We just clocked in our first family beach trip this past week. Well, first family beach trip where Crew was mobile. We are officially those people on the beach. I knew the day would come at some point, but it hits different when the time actually arrives. We schlepped stuff across copious amounts of sand. Not a little bit of stuff. A lot of stuff. It was a daily endeavor that required emotional stamina and physical endurance. We accepted our new reality, rolled with the daily set-up AND break-down jaunts and had some fun in between those two daily occurrences. I’m here to tell you that I think we nailed some essentials that made our lives easier at the beach with a 13 month old and I’m sharing them with you because it feels like an obligation to do so. The whole law of attraction thing. Disclaimer: One quintessential ingredient to this round-up, not included here, is a Grandma or any loving family member you can find to accompany you on said beach trip. Turns out, you cannot sell a Grandma on Amazon and for good cause…but, do not proceed to beach without this integral part of the equation. God speed!
